Château La Dominante is a property which has been handed down from father to son for many generations. Proof of this can be found in the parchment deeds dating back to the 17th Century and bearing the King's seal.

During the French Revolution the main building was demolished and rebuilt at a later date with stones from a neighburing château which had also been demolished.

Our simple peasant ancestors in time became viticulturists who were well known and respected in the region. So intense was their passion for winemaking that they did little to promote and sell the wine they produced. They left that to the Bordeaux merchants to whom they sold their entire production. The high quality and reputation of their wine spread quickly and they decided to market the wine themselves. It is thanks to these people, our ancestors, that I am able to reach you today.
