Château La Dominante : Our Wines - Bordeaux Supérieur.

Château La Dominante has 25 Hectares (62.5 acres) under vine. The grape varieties are 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.

Château La Dominante is situated near some of the most prestigious vineyards of Bordeaux : 5 kmn from POMEROL, 8 kmn from SAINT EMILION.

Great care is taken in the vineyards throughout the year to ensure the grapes come into the winery in optimum condition.
The whole process of making the wine, from the vinification to the bottling, is ensured by ourselves in a very strict manner and closely monitored by our oenological laboratory.

The wine has a lovely brilliant colour, a very rich and elegant bouquet with varied aromas of ripe red fruits in particular of woodland strawberries and of blackcurrants. Opulent and fleshy on the palate, the wine is very soft and finishes on fine tannins of exceptional length.

We also produce " Domaine des Hautes Bournarderies ".

This wine derives its name from a parcel of land of 5 hectares composed of siliceous gravel with a density of 5600 vignes per hectare which is planted up with 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc.
The name of this vineyard is " Les Bournarderies ".
" Domaine des Hautes Bournarderies " is very well-balanced, with a refined roundness of red fruits and pleasant to taste very young.
